Stocking Up With Azure | Big Azure Standard Haul | Christian Homemaking

Preview

Hi there, friends! Today, I’m sharing with you our large monthly Azure Standard haul! If you haven’t shopped with Azure before, I encourage you to check out their website and see where you save money in comparison to your local grocer. Azure has mostly organic and non-GMO items, and their quality of food is super intentional! Our family has been purchasing from them for about two years, and have never been disappointed with them!

Welcome to Mama’s Fruitful Home! My YouTube channel is inspired from Titus 2:3-5 and Psalms 128:3. Titus 2:3-5 says, “Older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not slaves to excessive drinking. They are to teach what is Good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands and to love their children, to be self-controlled, pure, homemakers, kind and in submission to their husbands, so that God’s Word will not be slandered.” Psalms 128:3 says, “Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your home, your children, like young olive trees around your table.” My hope and prayer here is to grow in sweet sisterhood, that we may flourish together in Christ-likeness as daughters of The King, always encouraging with Scripture. I will share tips on homemaking, ways to care for our over-all health in our God-given design and cooking and baking from scratch. Whether you are a brand new homemaker, or you’ve been homemaking for years, my hope and prayer is that God may use me to encourage you in your journey of creating a fruitful home. I am so blessed to have you here!

We got wild blueberry jam, bamboo flushable wipes, bamboo toilet paper, frozen broccoli, sea salt tortilla chips, diced tomatoes, quart-sized baggies, parchment paper, stainless steel whisk, scraper, sour cream, chili powder, salted butter, raw sharp cheddar cheese, raw medium cheddar cheese, vanilla extract, maple syrup, unsalted peanuts, limes, lemons, plain yogurt, vanilla yogurt, paper plates, oranges, pink lady apples, orange juice, pink salmon, frozen salmon, black olives, red potatoes, yellow potatoes and russet potatoes.

This is our first time trying the blueberry jam. For a sixteen-and-a-half ounce glass jar, it’s $6.10.

This is our first time trying the bamboo unscented flushable wipes. We got these for when we’re out and about thrifting and yard saling, because our hands always feel so disgusting after touching everything. For a sixty count package, it’s $5.47.

This is our first time trying the bamboo toilet paper. I recently heard that toilet paper is bleached and has chemicals on it, and that this is a better option- do your own research, as I haven’t even done any research on toilet paper yet, but we got one roll to try out for now. For one three-ply roll with three-hundred sixty-five sheets, it’s $1.66.

We get the frozen broccoli every month, as it’s our favorite vegetable to have with dinner and leftover lunches. For a four pound bag, it’s $20.03. We got two four-pound bags, and saved money, and we spent $35.17 when they were on sale- the original price for two four-pound bags is $35.79.

We get the sea salt chips every once in a while when we’re craving salsa and some crunch, and this brand is one of the best ones that we have found. For three seven-and-a-half ounce bags, it’s $14.32.

We get the diced tomatoes for making and canning chili for quick dinners in the future. For twelve fourteen-and-a-half ounce cans, it’s $22.65.

This is our first time trying the quart-sized baggies. These come in handy when we’re freezing meals, dessert and snacks that we have double or triple batched either for ourselves or that we save for others when they’re in a time of need. For a twenty-four count, it’s $2.95.

This is our first time trying the parchment paper. From our understanding, parchment paper is really toxic for us, but this one should be way better. We use parchment paper quite a bit when baking. This parchment paper is un-bleached and free of chlorine and heavy metals. For a seventy foot roll, it’s $6.77.

This is our first time trying the stainless steel whisk. We have never had a nice whisk, and I don’t even know why it’s taken us so long to get a very nice one, when it’s not even pricey at all for how often we use one. For an eleven inch whisk, it’s $12.39.

This is our first time trying the scraper. Making scones is one of my favorite desserts to make, and a scraper really would be much easier than the way I currently do it. I also recently made my very first sandwich loaf, and I know that the more I get into bread-making, the more handy this tool will be for us. It’s $7.85.

We get the sour cream monthly. We love that this has probiotics in it, to help heal our guts,  and that it is so thick and creamy. I have never liked sour cream in my entire twenty-something years of life, but when we tried this years ago, I will never eat any other sour cream. For a sixteen ounce tub, it’s $5.30.

We get the chili powder and every other seasoning and spice from Azure. This is a seasoning that we put on every single meal that we make here at home. For three one-pound packages, it’s $38.70.

We get the vat-cultured grass-fed salted butter every single month. We used to get this butter from our local health food store years ago, and we witnessed the price of it going up one to two dollars every time we visited. It’s because of this cheese that we even became interested in shopping from Azure Standard. We save so much money getting it from Azure. We really appreciate and love that they practice alternative farming of intensive rotational grazing and feed their cows only live grass at least three-hundred days a year, and the other sixty-five days non-GMO grains. For twelve eight-ounce blocks, it’s $57.85.

This is our first time trying the raw grass-fed sharp cheddar cheese. For an eight ounce block, it’s $4.77.

We get the raw grass-fed medium cheddar cheese every single month. This is the same brand of the butter I just mentioned, and this brand is genuinely why we started shopping through Azure, because it is the best quality butter and cheese that we have ever had. I have never been a huge fan of cheese my entire life, but this stuff, give me all of it. Their cheese is naturally higher in omega threes, and and none of this brand’s cows are ever given rBGH, which is a synthetic growth hormone to produce more milk in the cows in an un-natural manner. Their cows are also never treated with mRNA vaccines. For twelve eight-ounce blocks, it’s $46.09.

We get the vanilla extract very often. I use this like crazy to bake with and also in my coffee. For a thirty-two ounce jug, it’s $33.18. If you’ve purchased Azure’s whole vanilla beans and made your own vanilla extract, please let me know if that saves money! I have yet to make my own, but would so love to- I just don’t want to make it if it doesn’t save us money.

We have gotten the grade A dark robust maple syrup a few times now. We love this. I use it often for baking and in my coffee. It is far cheaper to get maple syrup through Azure than it is locally, but I also do understand paying more for a local maple syrup and supporting local farms who tap trees, so I’m sure we will still get some local maple syrup every once in a while as well. For a thirty-two ounce jug, it’s $19.57.

This is our first time trying the jumbo un-salted and un-shelled peanuts, just as a fun snack. For a twelve ounce bag, it’s $4.11.

We get the limes often. We use them for tacos. Limes are one of my favorite toppings on tacos. Tacos are my favorite food! For a two pound bag, it’s $6.95.

We get the lemons mostly in the Spring and Summer time. Now that it’s officially Spring, I’m craving lemon salmon and lemon desserts. We also have butterfly pea flower tea that is blue, and when we add citrus, the tea turns purple, so that’s a fun thing I also plan to make with these lemons. For a two pound bag, it’s $7.95.

We get the grass-fed plain yogurt every month. I recently started making our family yogurt, and I use this yogurt as the culture to make it, along with local raw milk. Once I perfect our yogurt, we’ll likely only get a couple six ounces to use as the yogurt culture in making our own. This is the same brand of butter and cheese we get. We love that their yogurt has live active cultures to provide probiotics to strengthen our gut health, and is free from antibiotics and synthetic hormones. This brand does very minimal processing so that all of the healthy nutrients stay in tact and help heal our bodies and over-all health. We got two sizes. For twelve 6-ounce tubs, it’s $12.36. For two twenty-four ounce tubs, it’s $7.12.

We get the grass-fed vanilla yogurt for me. I don’t like plain yogurt, and this vanilla yogurt is the only yogurt I have found that I like. Yogurt was another thing I never liked my entire life, but I can eat half a twenty-four ounce with no toppings, like it’s ice cream. This yogurt brand is so thick and delicious! For a twenty-four ounce tub, it’s $3.92. We got four tubs, and saved money, and we spent $14.24.

We get the paper plates almost monthly. We use them on The Sabbath so that we don’t have a ton of dishes to do, and we also use them on days when it’s just easier because we don’t want to add more dishes to the pile. For three forty-count packages, it’s $22.86.

We get the oranges every once in a while. We enjoy using them to make adrenal cocktails or as a snack. For a four pound bag, it’s $8.92.

We get the pink lady apples almost every month. We use these to make cinnamon or pumpkin spice apples and top yogurt and vanilla ice cream with them, and we also use them for daily snacks. For a twenty pound box, it’s $39.50.

We get the orange juice every once in a while, again for adrenal cocktails or as a drink with a spicy meal or just for fun. For a forty-six ounce jug, it’s $10.81.

This is our first time trying the pink salmon. For six five-ounce cans, it’s $22.76.

We get the frozen salmon every month, and we eat it for dinner and leftover lunch once a week. Salmon provides us with lots of important nutrients. For a ten pound box, it’s $110.38.

We get the black olives very often. We use them as a daily snack. For twelve six-ounce cans, it’s $29.40.

We get the red potatoes every single month. We have potatoes with breakfast every morning, and also really love making French fries and mashed potatoes multiple times a week for dinner and leftover lunch. Red potatoes are my favorite for making mashed potatoes, with the skin on. For a five pound bag, it’s $7.99.

We get the yellow potatoes monthly. These are mainly used with breakfast. For a five pound bag, it’s $8.25.

We get the russet potatoes every month. Russet potatoes are my favorite for making French fries. For a five pound bag, it’s $6.95.
